Description:

The YubiKey NFC and NEO Companion app is designed to facilitate the copying of One-time-passcodes (OTPs) or static passwords from a YubiKey onto the iOS clipboard.

For optimal functionality, the app requires the following:

<ul>
 <li>An iPhone that supports NFC technology, such as Apple Pay's "tap to pay"</li>
 <li>iOS version 11 or later</li>
 <li>A YubiKey NFC or NEO token (excluding v4, nano-size tokens, U2F keys, or other types)</li>
 <li>The YubiKey must be programmed with a "Yubico OTP," "OATH-HOTP," or "Static password" in Configuration Slot 1</li>
</ul>

Usage Instructions:

<ol>
 <li>Launch the app</li>
 <li>A dialog prompting you to "Hold YubiKey near the top edge of iPhone" will appear</li>
 <li>Place your YubiKey against the top edge of the phone until a beep is heard</li>
 <li>If enabled, the OTP or static password will be visible on-screen</li>
 <li>You can select "Copy OTP to Clipboard" or utilize the "Auto Copy" feature for automatic clipboard saving</li>
</ol>

Additional Information:

<ul>
 <li>iOS API restrictions prevent NFC scanning while the app is closed or running in the background</li>
 <li>Upon successful scan, a brief "Scan success" dialog will display for approximately 2 seconds</li>
</ul>
